Why the page reads like a machine

The sheet treats a tea the way an interface treats a system: everything is labelled, numbered and pointed at. Origin, elevation, process, batch and net weight are printed as readouts, reticles mark where the leaf sits densest, and the margins fill with barcodes, kana and small process icons. Cyan and magenta carry the signal against white while near-black carries the code line, and the only photograph on the page is the leaf. Around the readouts the style keeps its old protest furniture: slogan blocks, a mock advisory sticker, a hazard triangle. Those are graphic props of the late nineties, not statements about the tea and not warnings about anything; the numbers are the part you can actually use.
