Why this shop shows its seams

Every surface here is a material sample rather than a background, which means the page is assembled the way a jacket is: panels cut, laid next to each other, joined with a stitch you are meant to see. That makes the caption honest work instead of decoration — lot, season, stock number, origin — because a spec label is what holds an assembled thing together. The colours come from workwear stock, olive and indigo and brick and undyed cotton, all of them muted enough that dry leaf keeps its own tone on top.
