Two vocabularies are held together here: the college locker room and a hot flat coastline. Varsity capitals are condensed and set vertically so the name behaves like a stripe down the edge of a jersey rather than a headline. Palms are engraved, not photographed, which keeps them as scenery instead of a holiday picture. The paper is printed dry and slightly broken, and only one red rule and one banner are allowed per layout, so the page stays a two-colour job. Chinese tea is the sober element in that setup, shot flat and centred, and the contrast is the whole idea. A rock oolong under palm trees is a joke about where things get shipped and who ends up drinking them.
