This layout borrows the shapes a phone uses to make you trust something: a circular avatar, a bright ring, a tick badge, a soft pill button, a counter next to a heart. Putting a rock oolong or a longjing inside that frame shows how little the shapes have to do with the thing they surround, since the tick certifies nothing and the counter counts nothing. The palette is one cyan gradient against deep navy on plain white, with no texture at all, because interface graphics never admit to being printed. Lowercase geometric type keeps the tone flat and friendly, which is exactly the tone being examined. Chinese tea is the right subject because it is old, slow and specific, and the feed is new, fast and generic.
