Chinese tea · catalogue numbers
Ridges of tea stacked into a plot on black, a catalogue number at the head and a strip of flat swatches at the edge. Thirty-four Chinese teas, seven categories.

A waveform says nothing about taste and everything about structure, which is the honest thing a shop can show before you have drunk anything. Each tea builds its own ridge line out of its own material: buckwheat granules make a coarse, blocky plot, silver needles make a fine one, pressed pu-erh makes a heavy one. The page stays black so the ridges read as light rather than as objects, the catalogue number does the work a product title usually does, and the only colour is a strip of flat swatches at the edge. Nothing here is a package photograph, because the package is not the argument.
